امروز جمعه 28 شهریور 1399 جمعی از معلمان و فعالان صنفی برمزار بانوی معارف ایران حضور یافتند.
در این آیین گرامیداشت که گروهی از فعالان صنفی فرهنگیان شهرهای تهران ، کرج و اسلامشهر حضور داشتند ، مزار بانوی معارف ایران مهرتاج رخشان در شهر دماوند گل آذین شد.

در این آیین گرامیداشت که ساعت 8 بامداد در گلزار شهدای دماوند برگزار شد ، تنی چند از حاضران در وصف شرایط خفقان آن زمان و ایستادگی های اندیشمندان و مبارزانی مانند بانو مهرتاج رخشان ، توبا آزموده ، میرزا حسن رشدیه ، محمد بهمن بیگی ، جبارباغچه بان، صمد بهرنگی و دیگر بزرگان و معلمان پیشرو سخنانی ایراد نمودند .

یکی از سخنرانان این آیین پس از یادآوری شرایط دشوار تحصیل زنان و دختران به بخشی از سخنان بانومهرتاج رخشان پرداخت که گفته است:
” معلم نباید در نهان یا آشکار از هیچ فردی بیزار باشد. ”
در ادامه ی این آیین یکی دیگر از سخنرانان پس از یادآوری توانایی ها و شجاعت های بانو مهرتاج رخشان

ابراز داشت :  “بیشترین حوزه فعالیت مهرتاج رخشان در زمینه آموزش دختران بود. وی در مدرسه آمریکایی‌ها که از آن فارغ‌التحصیل شده بود، زبان و ادبیات فارسی را تدریس کرد. سپس موسس مدرسه ای در انزلی، مدیر و معلم مدارسی در شهرهای گلپایگان، مشهد، شاهرود و ملایر شد.”

مهرتاج رخشان این بانوی فداکار 56 سال پیش در شهر دماوند پس از ناامیدی از شرایط آن دوران گوشه گیر شده ، و در تنهایی چشم از جهان فرو بست .
