            طوبی آزموده دختر مرحوم میرزا حسن خان سرتیپ در سال 1257 ش 1294 / ق. به دنیا آمد او در چهارده سالگی به همسری عبدالحسین میرپنج درآمد. این زن و شوهر، فرزندی نداشتندو اختلاف سنی آنها نیز زیاد بود. میرپنج برای مشغول داشتن زن خود، او را به وسیله معلمان خصوصی به تحصیل فارسی وعربی و فرانسه تشویق کرد. آزموده در این فرصت توانست زبان و ادبیات فارسی، عربی و فرانسه را به خوبی فرابگیرد.

از کارهای  مهم طوبی آزموده که موجب شده تا از او به عنوان فعال سیاسی، اجتماعی زنان در دوره مشروطه یاد شود، این است،  که او در سال 1286خورشیدی دبستان دخترانه ناموس را که بعد از مدرسه ی دوشیزگان دومین مدرسه دخترانه در ایران بود تأسیس کرد. او در اول مهر ماه 1315 خورشیدی در سن پنجاه و هشت سالگی، در تهران در گذشت.

فعالیت های سیاسی اجتماعی

تنها اقدام مهم اجتماعی که اسم طوبی آزموده را ماندگار کرد، تأسیس مدرسه ای جدید تحت عنوان دبستان دخترانه ناموس در سال 1286 در خیابان شاهپور (حافظ فعلی) و نزدیک چهار راه حسن آباد بود. او توانست در مدتی کوتاه تعداد مدارس دخترانه را به شش دستگاه برساند، و در سال 1293 خورشیدی یعنی 8 سال پس از تاسیس اولین مدرسه نزدیک به 3474 دختر دانش آموز را جذب این مدارس کند.

خانم آزموده، این مدارس را به صورت یکی از مهم ترین و مجهزترین مدارس متوسطه کامل و کانون پرورش دختران متجدد درآورد. به عبارت دیگر اگر میرزا حسن رشدیه بنیانگذار مدارس کنونی پسرانه است، طوبی آزموده را نیز باید بنیانگذار مدارس دخترانه کنونی دانست.

البته لازم به ذکر است که اولین مدرسه دخترانه توسط خانم بی بی وزیرف به نام دبستان دوشیزگان در 1285 ش (یک سال قبل از مدرسه ناموس) تأسیس شد که ظاهراً خانم طوبی از او خواست که اجازه دهد تا در آنجا تدریس کند که با مخالفت مدیر مدرسه دوشیزگان روبرو شد.

گسترش مدرسه ناموس

مدرسه ناموس چند سال بعد از تاسیس، به خیابان فرمانفرما و بعد از آن به محل بزرگتری در خیابان شاهپور (حافظ فعلی) منتقل شد. در این زمان مدرسه ناموس به قدری توسعه یافته بود، که به صورت یکی از مهم ترین و مجهزترین مدارس متوسطه کامل درآمد، و تا پایان دوره دبیرستان دختران را آموزش می داد، به طوری که در 1307 خورشیدی اولین گروهِ دیپلمه مدرسه ناموس فارغ التحصیل شدند.

نخستین دسته از این گروه شامل خانم ها توران آزموده، فخر عظمی ارغنون، بی بی خانم خلوتی، گیلان خانم، فرخنده خانم و مهرانور سمیعی بودند. ایشان علاوه بر دایر کردن مدارس دخترانه، کلاس های اکابر را جهت جذب زنان مسن تر نیز دایر نمود.

مردانی که ایشان را دراین راه یاری می دادند عبارت بودند از: سیدجوادخان سرتیپ، میرزاحسن رشدیه، نصیرالدوله و ادیب الدوله.

بانو آزموده به پاس جبران کمک ها و هدایت های میرزاحسن رشدیه نسبت به ایشان در نظام نامه مدرسه مقرر داشته بود که برای همیشه و تا هر زمان که مدرسه ناموس پابرجاست، یکی از دختران خاندانِ رشدیه می تواند در آن تدریس کند.

چرا مدرسه خانم آزموده هیچ گاه تعطیل نشد؟

همانطور که می دانیم در صدر مشروطه مدارس جدید دخترانه با توجه به گرایشات مذهبی بسیار بالای مردم و هم چنین به دلیل حساسیت فوق العاده ای که مردم نسبت به آنها داشتند بیشتر زیر ذره بین بودند، زیرا از طرفی این نوع مدارس معمولاً توسط اتباع دولت های بیگانه خصوصاً مبلغه های مسیحی (همانند مدارس بیت ایل، الیانس، جردن و فرانکوپرسان) در سراسر ایران تأسیس می شدند. (خصوصاً که بعدها هم زمان با تأسیس مشروطه و مجلس شورای ملی، مدارس ملی و مردمی نیز متأسفانه در عمل ادامه دهنده همان سیاست مدارس خارجی در ایران بودند) و از طرف دیگر با وجود مکتب خانه های بی شماری که در سطح شهر وجود داشت، ضرورتی برای تأسیس مدارس جدید احساس نمی شد؛ این دو امر موجب شده بود که علما و مردم مذهبی نسبت به این مدارس حساسیت بیشتری از خود نشان بدهند.

اما در عین حال ما شاهد برخوردهای دوگانه علما و مردم با این گونه مدارس هستیم به این معنا که در آن واحد، نسبت به بعضی از این مدارس حساسیت شدیدی از خود بروز داده و در عین حال همزمان نسبت به بعضی دیگر حساسیتی از خود بروز نمی دادند که به عنوان مثال در اصفهان درست در زمانی که مدرسه خانواده صدیقه دولت آبادی توسط مردم و علما به تعطیلی کشیده می شود، همزمان مدرسه دخترانه دیگری در کمال آزادی به کار خود ادامه می دهد.

در باره ی  مدرسه ای که خانم آزموده آن را تأسیس کرده بود، همان مسئله تکرار می شود یعنی در حالی که مدرسه دوشیزگان (که توسط خانم وزیرف تأسیس شد) تحت فشار مردم و علما مدتی کوتاه پس از افتتاح به تعطیلی کشیده شد.

اما مدرسه ناموس که خانم آزموده آن را تاسیس کرد، تا سالیان متمادی بدون هیچ مشکلی به کار خود ادامه داد.

برای تبیین چرایی این امر لازم است تا نگاهی گذرا به عملکرد خانم بی بی وزیرف داشته باشیم.

خانم بی بی وزیرف (همسر موسی خان میر پنج) زنی روشنفکر از اهالی و تحصیل کرده قفقاز (یکی از جمهوری های روسیه) بود. ایشان با توجه به اینکه تربیت یافته فضای غیر دینی قفقاز بود، سعی می کرد تا فرهنگ غیر دینی خاص جوامع غربی را در ایران رواج دهد، برای همین علاوه بر تأسیس مدرسه دخترانه و دادن آموزش های غیر دینی به آنها، یکی دیگر از کارهای بی بی وزیرف آن بود که زنان را فرا می خواند تا در روزهای آخر هفته در خانه او گرد آیند و ضمن نوشیدن قهوه و کشیدن قلیان درباره موضوعات سیاسی خصوصاً از منافع دولت مشروطه (به سبک غربی) بحث کنند، و معمولاً خود ایشان سخنران آن جلسات بود.  طبیعی بود که این قبیل اقدامات از دید عموم مردم مذهبی وعلما پنهان نمی ماند. ایشان اقدامات تشویقی بسیاری را جهت جلب نظر عامه نسبت به مدرسه خود پی گرفت، ولی علی رغم این، مدرسه او همچنان مورد اعتراض مردم قرار می گرفت و زنها، شاگردان و معلم های مدرسه، او را مورد حمله فیزیکی و لفظی قرار می دادند.

از این رو پس از بازگشایی این مدرسه در سال 1324 ه .ق (در زمان تصدی وزارت معارف توسط صنیع الدوله)، به خاطر روندی که در تربیت غیر دینی دختران در این مدارس در پیش گرفته شده بود و آموزش و پرورش غربی معیار اصلی آنها بود، از طرف روحانیونی چون شیخ فضل الله نوری و سید علی شوشتری ، با مخالفت شدیدی روبرو شد، و آنها تاسیس چنین مدارسی را مایه وحشت و حیرت روِ سا و ائمه جماعت و قاطبه` مقدسین و متدینین دانستند.

ازاین رو در تاریخ اوائل صفر 1325 خورشیدی  هیاهو و جنجال گسترده ای در تهران همراه شد و مخالفان در لوایحی که علیه این مدرسه منتشر کردند چنین استدلال می کردند که : ” این مدرسه را بیگانگان به منظور رواج بی عفتی دایر کرده اند، حتی مستر مارلینگ (کاردار وقت سفارت انگلستان در تهران) در گزارش 16 ژوئیه 1908م . به سر ادواردگری (وزیر امور خارجه انگستان) می نویسد که در شهر شایع شده است که این مدرسه با تلقین همسر یکی از غلامان ما تشکیل شده است و ادامه می دهد، که واقعیت مطلب این است که زن مزبور [بی بی خانم وزیرف] در طبقه خود بر خلاف معمول، زنی است که خوب تحصیل کرده و سه ماه است که یک مدرسه دخترانه تشکیل داده است که دختران اشخاص خیلی محترم در آن درس می خوانند. سن بیشتر شاگردان هم کمتر از چهارده سال است.

خلاصه آنکه – همانطور که قبلاً نیز گفته شد- به نظر می رسد علت اصلی مخالفت این روحانیون ، زمینه سازی این مدارس در گرایش و پیروی زنان و دختران ایرانی از اصول و مبانی فرهنگ غرب و سست شدن پایه های ایمان اسلامی مردم بود. چنانچه پری شیخ الاسلامی نیز معتقد است که:

” ساخت  مدارس گوناگون که از آن پس [بعد از مشروطه] بصورت نهضتی درآمده بود، یکی از عوامل اصلی تغییر سیمای اجتماعی ایران – بطور اعم – و دگرگونی در وضع زنان – بطور اخص – بود. خانم های متجدد و روشنفکر در مواقع امتحانات و جشن های سالانه مدارس، اجتماعاتی در صحن آموزشگاه ها ترتیب می دادند و درباره وضع زنان، کنفرانس های مهیج و پرشوری برگزار می کردند. بسیاری از زنان روشنفکر و پیشرو، از فارغ التحصیلان همین مدارس بودند.

و بالاخره برای جلوگیری از شورش و آشوب، حکومت وقت مجبور شد موقتاً آن را تعطیل کند،اما پس ازمدتی (درمشروطه دوم) باردیگرمدرسه رابازکرد ولی حکومت، طی دستوری از ورود دختران بیش از یازده سال به این مدرسه جلوگیری کرد.

طوبی آزموده در این شرایط می دانست که تنها علت مخالفت علما با تأسیس مدارس دخترانه صرفاً به خاطر رواج فرهنگ بیگانگان می باشد، لذا بر آن شد تا با حفظ ظواهر اسلامی چنین القا کند که این مدرسه تنها به منظور ترویج فرهنگ اسلامی و با سواد کردن دختران تأسیس شده است. برای این منظور، هم در نصب تابلوی مدرسه و هم در مواد آموزشی و هم در برنامه های غیر آموزشی تجدید نظر کرده، سعی کرد تا ظاهری اسلامی به مدرسه خود ببخشد.

بنابراین، آزموده به کمک دو تن از شاگردان خود، احادیثی در تشویق فراگیری علم و کلمات قصار بزرگان دین را برای توجه هرچه بیشتر مردم بر دیوارهای مدرسه نصب می کرد.

تدریس قرآن، جزو برنامه های اصلی دروس مدرسه بود در مناسبت های مذهبی مجالس روضه خوانی نیز برقرار بود. او هم چنین در استفاده از معلمین مرد، بسیار احتیاط می کرد و برای این کار، شب ها در خانه خود بوسیله شوهرش از معلمین مرد مورد نظر دعوت می کرد.

بسیاری از شرح حال نویسان، این عمل طوبی را ریاکارانه و به منظور خام کردن اقشار مذهبی دانسته اند. به عنوان نمونه :  “ژانت آفاری معتقد است که خانم طوبی آزموده همان اقدامات خانم وزیرف را در شکلی جدید دنبال می کرد.”  بدرالملوک بامداد نیز معتقد است که خانم آزموده برای رهایی از مخالفت گسترده افکار عمومی، (که حتی به شکل اشعار هجو، نام دختران شرکت کننده در این مدارس بر سر زبان ها می افتاد) وتکفیر احتمالی علما در تمامی کلاس ها کتاب های مذهبی وقرآن تدریس می شد، و سالی چند روز مجلس روضه خوانی بر پا می گشت. یا در سایت تریبون فمینیستی چنین آمده است:

” فراز و نشیب هایی که مدرسه دوشیزگان و موِسس آن بی بی خانم با آن مواجه شده بود، طوبا را سخت هوشیار و مصمم تر می کرد. او به خوبی درک کرده بود که مخالفت خوانی ها و مانع تراشی هایی که گاه دانسته و گاه نادانسته مدرسه دوشیزگان را به تعطیلی کشانده بود، سد مهیبی است که مدرسه ناموس را باید از آنها دور ساخت. … ”  در این میانه طوبا که به دفع حملات دشمنان مصمم بود به فکر یاری جستن از علما و روحانیون نواندیش برآمد. … طوبا به کمک دو تن از شاگردان خویش، عبارات و کلمات قصار بزرگان دین را برای توجه هرچه بیشتر مردم بر دیوارهای مدرسه نصب می کرد و… او، درعین حال می کوشید، با یاری گرفتن از روضه خوان ها ومبلّغان و برپایی جلسات روضه خوانی در محیط مدرسه، تبلیغات مغرضانه سنت گرایان… را خنثی کند…

ظاهراً این سخن ها با توجه به اقدامات بعدی ایشان و هم چنین با توجه به کسانی که ازمدرسه او فارغ التحصیل شدند،(همانند فخرعظمی ارغنون، توران آزموده، بی بی خانم خلوتی، گیلان خانم، فرخنده خانم ومهر انور سمیعی واقعیت دارد و این برنامه ها چیزی جز ظاهر سازی های زیبا نبوده است.

شاهد دیگر، اینکه در مشروطه دوم بعد از فتح تهران و اعدام مجتهدینی همچون شیخ فضل الله و حاکمیت سکولارهایی امثال یفرم خان ارمنی، مجلس جشنی با حضور قریب به دوهزار نفر در مدرسه ناموس برگزار می شود و با دعوت از زنان متجدد ملل دیگر، نطق های مهیجی از طرف زنان ایراد می شود که از جمله آنها یکی از معلمین بود که در مقام شکرگزاری از دوران جدید گفت:

” هزاران شکر که منتهای آرزوی ایرانیان حاصل گردید. و میلیون ها سپاس و حق گذاری که دوره تبه روزگاری را طی کرده، پا به دایره زندگانی تازه گذاردیم، یعنی به واسطه اقدامات سرداران ملی و قهرمان آزادی و مجاهدین راه حریت و فداییان عدالت به انعقاد پارلمان و مجلس موفق شدیم… ”

یا سخنرانی که در جلسه امتحان مدرسه ناموس ایراد شد؛ علت دوری زنان از عالم تمدن [تجدد] در طول سال های گذشته را دور ماندن از فرمایشات پیامبر اسلام (ص) و تعلیمات دینی اسلام عنوان کرد. درتحلیل این امر باید گفت:  ” بعد از آنکه درمرحله اول از انقلاب مشروطه، تبلیغات مدلول به تثبیت ارزش های غربی و جایگاه اجتماعی مورد نظر [از نوع غربی] درباره زنان ایران به موفقیت دست نمی یابد، محافل وابسته تجددگرا درتعقیب هدف نهایی همسوسازی زن ایرانی درفرهنگ بین المللی، به منظوراستحاله و دگرگونی دراین بخش از جوامع شرقی ازدریچه متون جا افتاده و شناخته شده همانند تعلیم قرآن و هم چنین از برنامه های محبوب مردم همانند برنامه روضه خوانی و نصب پلاکاردهایی با مضمون احادیث مذهبی و دربخش آموزش ها، از آموزش وظایف نهادینه شده زنان، نظیر خانه داری، تعلیم و تربیت و… هم چنین با تحریک احساسات مردم درجذب هدفمند و هدایت شده، تعداد محدودی ازدختران یتیم و بی سرپرست به صورت مجانی اقدام به تغییر الگوهای جامعه زنان و بسط فرهنگ غرب در میان زنان می نماید.

به همین جهت در پی ایجاد مدارسی که از همان سال های اول مشروطه شروع به کار نمودندوبا عناوینی که همساز با انگاره های زنانه نظیر ناموس، مکتب خانه دختران مخدرات اسلامیه نامگذاری شده بود و حساسیت کمتری را برمی انگیخت، با آموزش علم خانه داری، حفظ الصحه، روش های صحیح تغذیه، فواید ورزش و تنفس در هوای آزاد و… زن تازه ای آفریده شد. بخشی از این آفرینش، ایجاد احساس بیگانگی و شرم زدگی زن نوگرا نسبت به زن سنتی بود؛ به طوری که دانسته های زنان سنتی به مثابه جهل و سخن و حرکات و رسوم آنان مایه سرافکندگی و خفت ملت پنداشته شد.

بعدها با نگارش کتاب هایی چون آداب معاشرت برای بانوان، آداب معاشرت،هدف پرورش زنان، تعلیم وتربیت دختران ایران تعلیمات خانه داری در اروپا و آمریکا (هر پنج کتاب از بدرالملوک بامداد) دستور زیبایی یا رموز آرایش بانوان (از عبدالحسین کافی 1316 ش) و… که حاصل ترواشات قلمی و یا ترجمه تربیت یافتگان این مکتب بود، روند تجددگرایی زن ایرانی شتاب بیشتری یافت.

معارف نسوان هم بی صاحب ماند.

در انتها می توان چنین نتیجه گرفت که خانم طوبی آزموده با استفاده از تجارب مدرسه دوشیزگان توانست با رعایت ظواهر شرعی نه تنها از تحریک افکار عمومی علیه خود جلوگیری کند، بلکه خوشنامی هم کسب کرده و در سایه آن به راحتی توانست مدارس خود را گسترش دهد و در نتیجه، بسیاری از تجدد طلبان توانستند در پوشش مدارس او به فعالیت فرهنگی مورد نظر خود بپردازند. آنها در وهله اول با تکیه بر شعارهایی مانند خودکفایی اقتصادی، صرفه جویی، ترویج کالاهای وطنی به میدان آمدند اما با تکامل صنعت و رشد تولید و ضرورت مصرف و بازاریابی به خصوص در کشورهایی چون ایران، استفاده از زنان در جهت ایجاد انگیزه برای مصرف با استفاده از جاذبه های زنانه، مد نظر قرار می گیرد، این نگرش به زن از جمله ویژگی های این دوران است (بعد از مشروطه و حکومت پهلوی) و به این ترتیب کارکرد جدیدی برای زن درنظر گرفته می شود که مانع اصلی آن دینداری زنان است.

امروزه بسیاری از روشنفکران، طوبی آزموده را با بزرگی یاد می کنند و معتقدند که ایشان علم را در جامعه نسوان زنده کرد اما باید به یاد داشته باشیم که مدارس، در آن زمان چندان وضع مطلوبی نداشتند و در حقیقت در بسیاری اوقات، مکتب خانه های دخترانه رقیب جدی مدارس جدید بودند،چنانکه در سال 1305 ش وقتی قرار شد اولین مدرسه دولتی در بوشهر تأسیس شود، مشکل اصلی، برکناری بانو ملاباجی مدیر اولین مدرسه مردمی در بوشهر بود. بانو ملاباجی که چهل سال قبل از آن ابتدا مکتب علوم دینی و زبان فارسی را در بوشهر اداره می کرد و سپس مدرسه معینیه را تاسیس کرده بود در بین بانوان جنوب ایران محبوبیت فراوانی داشت. این زن علی رغم جایگاه منحصر به فردی که داشت، توسط دستگاه رضا خان از کارش جلوگیری می شود.اما امثال مدارس خانم آزموده روز به روز گسترده و این دوگانگی در آموزش دختران از نقاط مبهم و تاریک تاریخ کشور ماست. علاوه بر اینکه بسیاری از این مدارس حتی به لحاظ آموزشی نیز وضع به غایت ناهنجاری به خود گرفته بودند بطوری که درسال 1331 ق گروهی از مدیران مدارس دخترانه نسبت به وضعیت نابسامان مدارس دخترانه تهران و بی توجهی وزارت معارف به آن، اعتراض کردندو یکی از آنها خطاب به وزارت معارف می نویسد: “در هر گذری بیست الی سی مدرسه [دایر] است ولی ابداً معلوم نیست که این اشخاص … لیاقت این امر مهم را دارند یا ندارند؟ مدرسه است یا وسوسه است؟ تدریس است یا تدلیس؟ مقام علم و معرفت است یا مکان لهو و لعب و شیطنت؟ ” هم چنین بسیاری از فعالان حقوق زنان مدعی بودند که اداره معارف به اشخاصی که صلاحیت علمی و اخلاقی ندارند به واسطه کاغذپرانی های بی محل و چاپلوسی و پارتی بازی ها و اشتباه کاری ها اجازه تأ سیس مدرسه دخترانه داده اند … و به اعتراض می نوشتند: معارف نسوان هم مثل خانه بی صاحب می ماند… هرکس به خیال خودش مکانی و اساسی ترتیب داده اسم آن را مدرسه گذاشته است.
