بگتاش آبتین از «کانون نویسندگان ایران» و امیر سالار داوودی «وکیل دادگستری» باصدور بیانیه‌ای به «تبعید» زندانیان سیاسی اعتراض و اعلام کردند که در حمایت از اسماعیل عبدی دست به اعتصاب غذا خواهند زد.

در این بیانیه آمده است:
«گرچه انتقال زندانی از بندی به بند دیگر یا از زندانی به زندان دیگر مرسوم است، هرگاه که انتقال با انگیزه و به منظور تنبیه و آزار زندانی انجام گیرد، معنایی جز نقض آشکار و مستقیم حقوق شهروندی و انسانی فرد زندانی ندارد.»

به گزارش «زیتون» امضا کنندگان این بیانیه تاکید کردند که «انتقال» زندانیان با این سبک و منظور شگرد و شیوه رایج در زندان‌های ایران است و به ویژه با شدتی بیشتر درباره زندانیان سیاسی اعمال شده و می‌شود. در چند هفته اخیر، انتقال چند تن از زندانیان سیاسی از زندان اوین به زندان های مختلف بار دیگر نشان داد که جابجایی‌ سرکوبگرانه همچنان ادامه دارد. در همین روزها، آتنا دائمی از زندان اوین به زندان لاکان شهر رشت، سپیده قلیان به زندان بوشهر و مریم اکبری منفرد به زندان سمنان منتقل شده اند و اسماعیل عبدی، معلم زندانی، با اینکه نزدیک به یک هفته است تحت عنوان انتقال به زندان رجایی شهر از زندان اوین بیرون برده شده، اما هنوز در هیچ یک از زندان های کرج پذیرش نشده است. اسماعیل عبدی ۶ سال است که در زندان به سر می‌برد و اکنون میان کلانتری‌ها و زندانهای مختلف شهر کرج گردانده می‌شود. پیگیری همبندی های او نیز همواره با سد دروغ‌های مسئولان زندان مواجه شده است: «دروغ و دروغ.»

در این بیانیه که از بند هشت زندان اوین صادر شده٬ آمده است: «در مقابل این ستم مضاعف، گریزی از اعتراض نیست. با توجه به اینکه مقامات قضایی و دست‌اندرکاران زندان تاکنون از پاسخ به خواست ما مبنی بر روشن ساختن وضعیت اسماعیل عبدی خودداری کرده اند.
ما دو تن از همبندیان او٬ بکتاش آبتین و امیر سالار داوودی٬ از ساعت ۱۸ روز ۲۷ اسفند ماه ۱۳۹۹دست به اعتصاب غذا زده‌ایم. این آغازی هشدار دهنده است و تا زمانی که خواسته ی ما محقق نشود، در هر روز یک زندانی به این اعتصاب غذا می پیوندد.»

بکتاش آبتین و امیرسالار داودی همچنین خطاب به مسئولان قضایی نوشتند: «به تنبیه و مجازات زندانیان معترض تحت عنوان «انتقال» پایان دهید. این نوع انتقال ها بخشی از جریان تحمیل سکوت و سکون به زندانیان است. ما خواهان توجه عملی مقام‌های قضایی و اجرایی به خواست اسماعیل عبدی و پایان دادن به بلاتکلیفی سرگردانی ایذایی او هستیم.»
