روزهایی که هنوز هفت ساله نشده بود، می‌رفت پارک آزادی آدامس و بادبادک می‌فروخت. تا هیجده سالگی با تمام توان چسبید به کشتی، همیشه تو استان اول بود و تو مسابقات کشوری مدال می‌گرفت. چون در نوجوانی مجبور شد ترک تحصیل کند برای مسابقات برون‌مرزی به بن بست خورد و بعدا ناچار شد به سربازی برود. سال ١٣٩٢ خدمت سربازیی‌اش تمام شد و این بار مشکلات مالی، کشتی را که ورزش مورد علاقه اش بود، از او گرفت. با سه سال کارگری پول ناچیزی جمع کرد. حالا دیگر ٢٣ ساله شده بود و ادامه دادن حرفه‌ای ورزش کشتی ریسک بزرگی بود. رسیدن او به تیم ملی تقریبا به رویایی محال تبدیل شده بود. … در سن ٢٥ سالگی ناچار شد برای کمک به خانواده باز هم به کارگری بپردازد و بعدا در شهریور ٩٧ دستگیر شد و…. ”

این شرح مختصر و گوشه‌هایی از زندگی نوید افکاری، به نقل از خود اوست که با جسمی درهم شکسته از فشار و شکنجه ماموران امنیتی، در سحرگاه روز شنبه، بیست و دوم شهریور ماه، بی آن که حتی اجازه دیدار با خانواده و مادر خود را داشته باشد، با دستپاچگی هرچه تمام‌تر به طناب دار آویخته شد، تا به زعم مقامات و ارگان‌های حامی سرمایه، درس عبرتی باشد برای کارگران و مردم معترضی که زندگی در زیر بار ستم طبقاتی و بی‌حقوقی را بر نمی‌تابند و به انحاء مختلف، اعتراض خود را نسبت به مناسبات استثماری و اختناق حاکم بر جامعه نشان می‌دهند.

نویدافکاری، خود، یکی از همین مردم معترض بود. او یکی از هزاران جوان کارگر و محرومی بود که از کودکی با کارگری و دستفروشی، طعم تلخ فقر و نابرابری را چشیده و با ترک تحصیل اجباری و دست شستن از علایق و آرزوهایش، از جمله “عضویت در تیم ملی کشتی”، به عنوان کارگری گچکار مشغول به کار شد، تا بخشی از مخارج خانواده را برعهده بگیرد و کمک خرج خانواده باشد.

همین وضعیت البته به نوبه خود، نوید را با واقعیت‌های تلخ زندگی و نابرابری های موجود در جامعه آشنا کرد و از او فردی معترض، رشید و با شهامت ساخت. تا آن جا که در اعتراضات خیابانی مردم که علیه فقر، گرانی، تورم و استبداد لجام گسیخته، در جامعه صورت می‌گیرد، شرکت کرد و به سهم خود نقش فعال و پُررنگی در آن اعتراضات و تظاهرات‌ها داشت.

گماشتگان سرمایه، برای نوید که فردی شناخته شده و از جنس خود مردم بود به خاطر شرکت در اعتراضات خیابانی سال ۹۷ پرونده‌سازی کرده و او را به دنبال اعترافی ساختگی که تحت فشار و شکنجه انجام شده بود، به اعدام محکوم کردند، تا به تصور خود، کارگران و مردم معترض را بترسانند و از اعتراضات آنان در آینده جلوگیری کنند.

غافل از آن که، آن چه که کارگران و توده‌های محروم و زحمتکش جامعه را به حرکت وا‌ می‌دارد و به اعتراض و مبارزه می‌کشاند همانا شرایط و اوضاع و احوالی اسفبار است که زندگی را برای بیش از ۹۰ درصد آحاد جامعه سخت و غیرقابل تحمل کرده و آنان را به فقر و خانه‌خرابی کشانده است. نوید و نویدها در واقع محصول این شرایط هستند و از دل شرایط نامناسب اجتماعی و اعتراضات و مبارزات مردم برمی‌خیزند.

ناگفته پیداست نهادهایی که با صحنه سازی و گرفتن اعتراف در زیر فشار و شکنجه حکم صادر می‌نمایند، تا جان یک کارگر زحمتکش و بی‌گناه را بگیرند و از این طریق به اصطلاح قدرت نمایی کنند، به راستی ترسیده‌اند و سخت نگران وضعیت آتی خود در روزها و ماه‌های پیش‌رو می‌باشند.

اما برخلاف تصورِ مدافعان سرمایه، اعدام نوید نه تنها ترس و وحشت در دل مردم ایجاد نکرد، بلکه واکنش شدید و گسترده کارگران و توده‌های مردم را همراه با خشم و انزجار آنان نسبت به این اقدام سرکوب‌گرایانه و ضدانسانی برانگیخت و آن را به عنوان قتل عمد دولتی و پدیده‌ای مذموم و ضدبشری در معرض نگاه و قضاوت کارگران آگاه و وجدان‌های بیدار جامعه قرار داد. اعدام نوید بار دیگر حساسیت جامعه را نسبت به این مسئله جلب نمود و به کارگران و توده‌های مردم یادآور شد که باید پرقدرت، متشکل و گسترده علیه اعدام و سلب آزادی به مبارزه برخاست. به طور قطع این، آن نتیجه مطلوبِ دولتمردان و عوامل سرمایه نبوده است.

ما به عنوان بخشی از جامعه کارگری ایران، ضمن عرض تسلیت به مردم زحمتکش و خانواده داغدیده‌ی از جور ستم پیشگان، هرگونه تهدید، شکنجه و اعدام را نشانه وحشت و استیصال کارگزاران و عوامل سرمایه دانسته و حق شرکت در اعتراضات و اعتصابات کارگری را جزیی از حقوق حقه و مسلم کارگران و توده‌های محروم می‌دانیم. اعتقاد ما بر این است که هیچ کس را نباید به خاطر اعتراض به مصائبی که دامن‌گیر کارگران و زحمتکشان است تهدید و ارعاب نمود و مهمتر و فجیح‌تر از آن، دستگیر، زندانی ، شکنجه و اعدام کرد.
